ACI helps introduce Visa cards to Ethiopia

Computer Business Review: Omaha, Neb.-based ACI Worldwide has licensed its Base24 platform and its Card Management System and Smart Chip Manager software to Ethiopia-based Dashen Bank. The bank plans to use the software to issue the nation's first Visa cards while meeting the processing requirements of Europay, MasterCard and Visa smart card transactions.
