At the ATM & Mobile Executive Summit in late September, Mimi Hart, CEO of MagTek Inc. (and a recent winner of the Most Influential Women in Payments award), took part in a panel discussion with Michael Caswell of the Secret Service and Adam Meyers of the digital security firm, Crowdstrike, in which the three addressed the critical nature of mobile app security for banks and the types of transactions that are most vulnerable to fraud.
In a later interview with ATM Marketplace, Hart returned from the troublesome world of digital fraud to the equally problematic world of plain old plastic card-present fraud — and a solution that is helping some in the payments industry stop fraudulent transactions before they occur.
