Customers ATM, an Australian-based independent ATM deployer (IAD) today announced that it has signed an ATM-branding agreement with Mortgage House of Australia, a non-bank home loan lender with more than 50 offices nationwide.
As part of the five-year contract, Customers ATM will deploy the branded ATMs for Mortgage House throughout metropolitan Sydney over the next 12 months, officials from both companies said. In addition, Customers ATM will install Mortgage House-branded ATMs in other metropolitan areas.
Ken Sayer, founder and CEO of Mortgage House, said about 25 branded-ATM terminals will be deployed, but Sayer added he is not certain about the total number of ATMs that will be branded by Mortgage House. Customers ATM is installing ATMs manufactured by Nautilus Hyosung Inc. for Mortgage House.
"We will use this opportunity to provide the best ATM technology from Nautilus Hyosung and service to Mortgage House, which in turn will use its branding on our ATMs to strengthen its positions in the non-bank home loan space," said Tim Wildash, managing director of Customers ATM.
In November 2009, Customers Limited and Nautilus Hyosung, one of the world's largest ATM manufacturers, announced a partnership agreement. The contract gave Customers ATM the rights to distribute a range of Nautilus Hyosung ATMs throughout Australia. Customers ATM is a member of Customers Limited, which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.
Mortgage House will use the ATMs to promote its home loan business, Sayer said. "The ATMs will be equipped with advanced features that will enable Mortgage House to promote its services," he added.
Customers ATM is Australia's largest IAD, with 5,850 ATMs as of Dec. 31, 2010.
