Trying to choose among the infinite variety of technology tools available to financial institutions can be overwhelming, Madhu Reddy, senior vice president and chief information officer at Republic Bank in Chicago, told Tim Tang, director of enterprise solutions at Hughes, in an interview at the Bank Customer Experience Summit in September.

"That's the reason my starting point is, "'What is the business problem we're trying to solve?,'" he said. "That makes it much easier for me to look at it in terms of what's available and what's the fit for purpose."
