WorldRemit, Xpress Money partner on instant money transfer project

Digital money transfer service WorldRemit and global money transfer brand Xpress Money are partnering to open up new remittance routes to Jordan, according to a press release.

Through Xpress Money’s agent partner network, WorldRemit customers will be able to make transfers to be collected at more than 100 cash pick up locations in the country.

Remittances play an important role in Jordan’s economy, the release said, citing World Bank figures totaling $5 billion in Jordan in 2015.
