Wincor sees 18 percent operating profit increases

AUSTIN,Texas- Wincor Nixdorfon Nov. 14 announced that the company has ended its 2005/2006 fiscal year with an 18 percent operating profit increase and 12 percent improvement in net sales.
 
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew in the period by 21 percent to € 203 million (U.S. $260 million), up from € 168 (U.S. $215 million) for the same period last year. Net income increased by 46 percent to € 82 million (U.S. $105 million), up from € 56 million (U.S. $71 million).
 
"In the fiscal year just ended, everything went right," said Karl-Heinz Stiller chief executive officer of Wincor Nixdorf AG.
 
Wincor Nixdorf AG will publish its audited group accounts and additional information on fiscal year 2005/2006 along with details of its current business performance at its annual results conference to be held on December 13, 2006, in Düsseldorf.
