PADERBORN, Germany -Wincor Nixdorf Internationalhas ended the 2005-2006 fiscal year with a net income increase of 46 percent.
According to a news release, the company's net income hit €82 million (U.S. $103 million), up from €56 million ($70 million) in FY '04-'05.
EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax and amortization) also climbed, up 21 percent, to €203 million (U.S. $257 million), from €168 million (U.S. $212 million) last year. Net sales jumped 12 percent to €1.9 million (U.S. $2.5 million), up from €1.7 million (U.S. $2.210 million)
The increases surpassed even Wincor's forecasts, which were upgraded during the year to 15 percent for operating profit and 10 percent for net sales.
