Wincor names new VP of U.S. retail

AUSTIN, Texas - Wincor Nixdorf USA has appointed Tad Shepperd its vice president of the U.S. Retail Group.
According to a news release, Shepperd will oversee all aspects of the company's retail solutions business in the U.S.
Shepperd comes to Wincor from Spencer Technologies, where he served as chief business development officer. Shepperd also co founded ShopperTrak, a company that established a line of intelligence solutions for retailers that rely on foot traffic.
"Tad has spent the last 20-plus years delivering business-improving solutions to retailers and establishing himself as a respected industry expert," said Brad Waugh, president and chief executive of Wincor USA. "Tad is an entrepreneur with functional expertise in both sales and operations."
