Wincor enters Cambodian market

PADERBORN, Germany - Wincor Nixdorf International expects soon to deploy its first 30 ATMs to three banks in the Kingdom of Cambodia - ACLEDA, Union Commercial Bank PLC and Vattanac Banks. The deployment marks the first ATMs to be installed by the three banks.

"Cambodia is embracing a new era of banking where increasingly banks are recognizing the need to modernize their facilities and bring banking networks up to speed," said Lim Khoon Hong, president of Wincor Asia Pacific. "We are pleased that Wincor Nixdorf has been selected as the preferred vendor by ACLEDA, UCB and Vattanac to kick-start their self-service banking. As we do more than just supply ATMs, we look forward to setting the banking standards for the country."

So far this year Wincor has increased its presence in the Asia-Africa region by 20 percent.
