The Age: Australia's federal treasurer Peter Costello has advised Westpac bank customers to take their business elsewhere. Starting in April, the bank is expected to increase its fee for non-Westpac ATMs from $1.50 (U.S. $1.13) to $2 (U.S. $1.50). "If Westpac moves its fees in a way which is uncompetitive, I would recommend people go to other banks," Costello said.
