Wells Fargo executive to make keynote address at TAWPI 2008 Forums & Expo

BOSTON, Mass. — Steve Ellis, executive vice president at Wells Fargo & Co., will present the opening keynote address at The Association for Work Process Improvement's (TAWPI) 2008 Forums & Expo, scheduled for August 24-27, at Disney's Contemporary Resort in Orlando, Fla.
Ellis is executive vice president of Wells Fargo's Wholesale Services Group (WSG), which includes Enterprise Payment Strategies, Health Benefit Services, Technology Services and Treasury Management Products and Services. He also is responsible for Wholesale Banking operations and support areas including commercial loan services, customer analytics, marketing and risk management.
"Ellis will take a high-level look at emerging trends and provide insights into the vision of the payments future," said Frank Moran, TAWPI president. "He'll focus on the many variables driving rapid change in the industry today, from the electronification of payments to new rules and competition from non-banks. We are fortunate to have insight from an industry authority such as Steve." 
 
Ellis' address will take place August 25.
