Wellington Technologies signs ATM deal

September 8, 2010

Wellington Technologies Inc. today announced that it has acquired the manufacturing rights to GreenLink Technologies Inc.’s design of stand-alone ATM products for an undisclosed price.

As part of the agreement, Wellington Technologies, which is based in Billings, Mont., will provide parts and technical support for GreenLink’s Merlin 1, 2, 3, CD 1000-9000 ATMs and Wizard kit. GreenLink’s Wizard kit is used to make Triton ATMs Triple DES compliant.

Wellington also will manufacture the Odyssey 1000 and 2000 ATMs in its Billings plant. The Odyssey series represents the last ATMs manufactured by GreenLink.

Wellington, which has been involved in ATM sales and processing since 1994, has been a master distributor of Euless, Texas-based GreenLink ATMs since 1996.

“This exciting new venture will allow Wellington Technologies to offer ISOs the easily repaired modular design and the lowest cost to operate ATM that they have come to expect,” company officials said in a statement. “They will also continue to provide an easily owner-repaired ATM to the single-location operator without any expensive service contracts.”
