WAUSAU sits on remote deposit capture panel at BAI's TransPay

MOSINEE, Wis. — WAUSAU, provider of distributed payment and document-processing solutions, will have Sam Golbach, a senior product manager, speak on a panel about remote deposit capture during the BAI TransPay Conference & Expo next month.
According to a news release, Golbach and representatives from Fifth Third Bank and Digital Check Corp. on Feb. 7 will participate on a panel that focuses on how to use remote deposit capture to acquire and enhance corporate and small-business banking relationships while controlling risk and maximizing return by consolidating multiple banking relationships with one institution.
"The majority of financial institutions are well aware of the benefits realized from remote capture, but many are still looking for additional information and ideas on how to construct their strategy around successfully sourcing new banking relationships using the solution," Golbach said. "Our goal in this session is to share best practices and approaches to establishing new relationships while optimizing financial value and minimizing risk."
