Wausau, ASD partner to combat check fraud

MOSINEE, Wis. - Remittance-processing provider Wausau announced it has partnered with Advanced Software Design Corp. to offer financial institutions an integrated payment solution that is designed to combat check fraud.

Wausau's Positive Pay solution, Sand, includes traditional Positive Pay, reverse Positive Pay, account reconciliation, Sand barcode, and SafeCheq capabilities. The solution allows Wausau customers and their clients to select individual levels of fraud protection.

Sand provides next-generation fraud protection for FIs and their corporate customers. When the check is presented for payment, the barcode is decrypted and verified for payment through the Positive Pay and Sand solutions.
