VSoft Centrum Gateway ATM 5.20 software provides comprehensive deposit automation solution

ATLANTA — VSoft Corp. has announced the release of its Centrum Gateway — ATM 5.20 software with interfaces to NCR Corp.'s ImageMark ATM Passport software solution and Diebold Inc.'s Opteva ImageWay ATM.
According to a news release, NCR or Diebold ATMs that support image transmission can integrate with VSoft Corp.'s Gateway — ATM software, which captures images at the ATM location for processing and image exchange.
"Automating the entire life cycle of the ATM deposit provides financial institutions with competitive advantages in reducing operating costs, enhancing customer service and decreasing fraudulent items," said Murthy Veeraghanta, president of VSoft. "The industry continues to move toward accepting deposits through ATMs, and by partnering with industry leaders such as NCR and Diebold, we can transform in-branch and remote-site ATMs into an extension of the distributed capture network, allowing financial institutions to benefit from check truncation at the ATM." VSoft's Centrum Gateway — ATM software allows image-enabled ATMs to provide gateway functions for the captured deposits, including collecting the captured images and data from multiple ATMs at a central location, virtual sorting, deposit review and providing inputs to VSoft's Digital Dashboard for enterprise-wide monitoring and insight into the institution's distributed capture network. "NCR and VSoft have a history of partnering to customize and integrate unique software and service offerings for financial organizations," said Brian Bailey, vice president of financial marketing for NCR. "An enterprise solution, NCR ImageMark Passport software is designed to help financial institutions automate and streamline the check deposit and payment process at the ATM and in the branch." Because the Centrum Gateway — ATM software integrates with VSoft's extensive set of back-office applications, FIs can capture the check image at the ATM and exchange with an endpoint, achieving what VSoft calls Straight Through Image Processing.
