VocaLink, China Unionpay let Chinese tourists use ATMs in U.K.

Finextra:VocaLink has signed a deal with China Unionpay that will allow Chinese visitors in the United Kingdom to withdraw cash at ATMs on the Link Interchange network. Inearly 2009, CUP's 1 billion bank cards can be used to withdraw sterling from more than 60,000 U.K. cash machines. VocaLink says the deal means Chinese visitors will no longer have to carry cash or use dual-currency credit cards, which carry higher withdrawal fees.
