Virtual FI Radius Bank expands client access to fee-free ATMs with MoneyPass

September 21, 2018

Radius Bank, a full-service virtual financial institution with headquarters in Boston, has expanded client access to fee-free ATM withdrawals nationwide through an agreement with national interbank network provider MoneyPass, a division of Elan Financial Services.

According to a press release, the agreement with MoneyPass will give Radius Bank clients the following:

  • Surcharge-free cash withdrawal at more than 32,000 additional ATMs.
  • Cash and check deposit at more than 3,000 additional deposit-taking ATMs — an increase of 30 percent over the previous number.
  • A searchable MoneyPass ATM locator.

Radius bank is also a member of the NYCE Network, a division of FIS. Between the two networks, Radius offers clients the convenience of access to 500,000 free ATMs and 10,000 deposit-taking ATMs.

"For us it is all about making our clients' lives easier, and one of the ways we continue to do that is through technology partnerships like this with MoneyPass," Chris Tremont, Radius Bank executive vice president of virtual banking, said in the release. "We have long been believers that our clients should not have to pay a fee to access their own money and are always looking for ways to make it more convenient for them to get money into their accounts. We're excited to have launched this new benefit."
