Valero partners with Tio for new services

BURNABY, British Columbia -Valero Energy Corp. and Tio Networks Corp. are expected to roll out self-serve bill-payment and financial-services kiosks at more than 30 of Valero's Diamond Shamrock Corner Stores in Greater Denver. 

According to a news release, the rollout should be complete by the end of June.

Valero's Denver-area customers will be able to pay wireless, utility and cable bills at Tio's cash-accepting touchscreen ATMs.  The service will be available in English and Spanish, and a fee will be charged for the transaction. Customers also can receive a paper or digital receipt for each transaction.

The two companies said they expect to add additional services, such as money-order purchase and prepaid products, at the terminals.
