USAA selects Cardtronics' ATMs for expansion into the D.C. market

Cardtronics Inc. today announced that San Antonio-based USAA Federal Savings Bank (FSB) has reached an ATM branding agreement with the company. As a result, 189 Cardtronics-owned and operated ATMs in the metro Washington, D.C. area now feature the USAA brand and offer fee-free cash access to USAA members.

USAA, a provider of financial services for military families, offers banking, insurance, investment and retirement products and services to more than 8 million members.

All 189 Cardtronics-owned/USAA-branded ATMs are located in the Washington, D.C. area at CVS/pharmacy locations.

In addition to this ATM branding agreement, USAA has participated in the Allpoint Network since 2009. The Allpoint Network is a Cardtronics affiliate and the nation's largest surcharge-free ATM network.

"As a financial services company dedicated to serving active and retired members of the military and their families, USAA is pleased to offer a full range of banking services to our members in one of our largest markets," said Andy Collins, assistant vice president of deposits for USAA FSB.
