The U.S. Payments Forum, a cross-industry body focused on supporting the introduction and implementation of new and emerging payment technologies, has updated its resource, EMV Testing and Certification White Paper: Current Global Payment Network Requirements for the U.S. Acquiring Community.
The revision includes new information on EMV contactless testing and certification requirements and processes, as well as updates to contact requirements from the global payment networks, according to a press release.
"This update to the white paper reflects the current payment network requirements for both contact and contactless transactions, and continues to be a useful resource as merchants and acquirers move forward with their move to chip payments," forum director Randy Vanderhoof said in the release.
