United Cash Solutions delivers wireless, IP connectivity to ATMs
April 14, 2008
BEVERYLY, Mass. — United Cash Solutions now offers wireless and Internet protocol connectivity for ATMs, and the connectivity options are said to work with any standard ATM. According to a news release, the UCS IP router converts the ATM's connectivity from analog dial-up to IP, ultimately removing the need for a dedicated phone line, if the location is wired for high speed Internet access. UCS also is providing wireless ATM service, an alternative for merchants that don't have conventional dial-up or Internet access. Using a wireless-conversion router, the service networks include AT&T and T-Mobile, UCS says.
UCS will show its solution April 15-17 during the 2008 ETA Annual Show in Las Vegas. The company's booth number is 127.
