U.K. police arrest suspected ATM thieves

(England) Daily Record: Police searching for a gang suspected of a string of ATM smash-and-grabs say on Dec. 12 they arrested eight of the gang members. The group used heavy machinery like diggers and tractors to tear ATMs from banks and shops, netting an estimated £360,000 (U.S. $706,000) in the last two years.
