Ugandan transaction processor signs with Postilion

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa — Postilion, a division of S1 Corp., has signed a swithing and processing deal with Uganda-based transaction processor Bankom.
According to a news release, the deal involves four financial institutions.
"Bankom's migration to the Postilion platform has enabled more operational flexibility through user-friendly monitoring and technical tools," said Bernard Mogaka, Bankom's sales and marketing manager. "Postilion offers real-time connections, enabling quicker transaction times, and faster troubleshooting. It also enables innovation through the ability to apply more e-payment channels such as bill payment, mobile banking services, and mobile phone account top-ups."
