Trusted Security Solutions Inc., a provider of secure ATM key management solutions, says it has performed successful end-to-end remote key loading and testing of the latest Diebold Inc. encrypting PIN pad, the EPP7.
All ATM manufacturers are required to make changes to their EPPs in response to PCI 3.0 guidelines. Diebold will begin to implement and ship the EPP7 in 2014.
"It will be critical for all ATM owners and processors to be ready to handle the new cryptographic processes demanded by these new EPPs," said Dennis Abraham, president of Trusted Security Solutions in a company news release.
"We are pleased to report that we have successfully tested remote key loading for the EPP7. Our A98 customers will be provided a seamless upgrade for their A98 ATM Key Management Systems to continue remote key loading their existing EPP4s and EPP5s as well as the latest EPP7."
