Trusted Security provides A98 remote key protocol for Triton ATMs
March 30, 2009
According to a news release, Trusted Security tested its A98 system on a Triton RL2000 with Triton's T5 EPP and RB2 firmware. The host used in the test was Columbus Data Services of Dallas.
"In this test, we configured the Triton ATM to talk directly to the A98 System to execute the Triton remote key protocol," said Trusted Security president Dennis "Abe" Abraham. "This is the first time we used an architecture of directly connecting the ATM to the A98 for the purposes of remote key loading and we see major benefits to some customers in offering this option."
The Triton remote key protocol is the fourth remote key loading protocol Trusted Security has added to its A98-R Remote Key Module. Since 2004 the A98-R has been in use remotely keying Diebold and NCR ATMs. Coding necessary to remote-key Wincor Nixdorf ATMs is available but has not yet been field tested.
