LOS ANGELES -- Ken Paull, who as vice president of sales and marketing for Triton Systems played a key role in expanding Triton's presence all over the world, is leaving the Long Beach, Miss.-based ATM manufacturer to head the sales strategy of Cash Technologies, Inc.
Paull will focus on domestic and foreign distribution of Cash Tech's EMMA transaction processing platform and its ATM-X and POS-X client software.
"Ken's strong background in both ATM and POS systems will be invaluable in helping to deploy Cash Tech's flagship EMMA transaction processing platform into the retail and financial services industries," said Cash Technologies CEO Bruce Korman.
Paull brings nearly 20 years of technical sales, marketing and business development experience to Cash Tech. In addtion to helping establish distribution channels for Triton in Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia, he also helped spearhead the company's sale to Dover Corporation earlier this year.
Prior to joining Triton, he was general manager of VeriFone's retail division. During his five years at VeriFone, Paull was responsible for launching the company's direct retail strategy, which ultimately resulted in the company capturing a majority share of the supermarket and chain drug markets in the U.S.
Paull said, "My role at Cash Technologies will allow me the opportunity to complete the job I started at Triton and VeriFone -- to provide convenient access to financial services wherever people work, shop and live."
