Transaction Network Services Canada today announced the introduction of an ATM communications service for ATM ISOs.
The new service, TNSLink, provides secure, flexible, high-speed communications through 3G wireless channels, said Transaction Network Services. It is PCI DSS compliant, and it enables dial devices to leverage wireless technology to transport payment-related data. TNSLink utilizes TNS Canada Secure SSL Gateway for efficient delivery of transactions to ATM processors, company officials said. The service also provides billing and 24-hour helpdesk support, they added.
“We are delighted to be extending our services into ATM communications,” said John M. Perry, general manager of the payments division at Transaction Network Services.
TNSLink represents a new era in ATM communications for the Canadian market, Perry said.
“In recent years, banks and ISOs have had very few options for ATM communications and this lack of competition has been felt,” he said. “Now they have a choice and can select a service most appropriate for their needs.”
Transaction Network Services provides ATM communications and processing services to over 110,000 ATMs worldwide.
