TMD intros ATM Security Controller 7000

October 9, 2018

TMD Security is showcasing its new ATM Security Controller 7000 this week at ATM & Cyber Security 2018 in London.

According to a press release, ASC 7000 is a single modular solution architecture that controls a complete suite of defenses against card fraud, logical threats and physical attacks.

Also at the event, the company will demo TMD Locks, described as the ATM industry's first integrated keyless access control system for the ATM top box, safe and secure room door.

The fully certified TMD Locks solution offers increased security at a lower cost by enabling automated remote access control via one-time codes generated by the Hardware Security Module and sent via mobile phone, the release said.

The artificial intelligence concept of NEM technology, developed with TMD Security sister company TMS ATM Software, may be used with TMD Locks for extra protection against unauthorized access to the ATM top box or safe.

"Based on our global industry research, ATM deployers do not only want security solutions that successfully protect their ATMs and cardholders against potential attacks, but they also need to keep up-front investment and operational costs as low as possible," TMD founder Cees Heuker of Hoek said in the release. "ASC 7000 solves these challenges because it is a single solution that controls all potential defenses, to significantly reduce the cost of deploying and managing ATM security solutions."

TMD Security will also have on display its new Note Staining Kit 7000 with passive shockwave technology, and its Card Protection Plate 7000, which provides a new level of protection against deep insert skimming and shimming, and is integrated into ASC 7000 architecture for real-time remote monitoring, the release said.
