BURNABY, British Columbia - Tio Networks Corp., formerly Info Touch Technologies Corp., and Presto Convenience Stores are deploying self-service bill-payment and financial-services touchscreen terminals in stores in Wichita, Kan.
According to a news release, 10 terminals have already been deployed.
The terminals let cash-preferred customers pay bills and update accounts in English or Spanish. Customers also can purchase prepaid products and services as well as reload and activate stored-value products.
To make payments, customers feed cash into the note acceptor, and Tio posts payments in real-time via the Internet. After each transaction, customers can have receipts printed or e-mailed.
Tio will give a portion of transactional revenue to Presto.
