Tidel releases Sentinel bulk-coin dispenser with coin recycler

Tidel Engineering L.P. has announced the release of the Sentinel Bulk Coin Dispenser with Coin Recycler, the newest member of the Sentinel Cash Management system.
"The BCD-R is the only solution available today that automates the cash room for retailers' cash handling and reconciliation processes," said Ed Grondahl, Tidel's executive vice president of global sales. "All cash processing is automated and simplified. Cashiers can begin and end their shifts without interacting with anybody else but the BCD-R.
The BCD-R comprises three segments:
- A coin recycler that accepts, validates, counts, sorts and dispenses coins
- A note dispenser that dispenses flat notes, versus rolled
- A bulk-note accepter that accepts, validates and counts notes
