The Banker's Exchange, Availia offer RDC solution for smaller FIs

LAS VEGAS — The Banker's Exchange and Availia have released a check-imaging scanner called CheckNique that gives financial institutions more options as they move toward remote deposit capture.
"While many banks have made progress with their largest customers, today's technology makes it difficult to extend the solution to the much larger numbers of small and mid-sized customers," said Jim Wilson, chief executive of The Banker's Exchange. "The CheckNique, with its rich feature set, image quality and reliability will change the game in the RDC space and allow for a much larger scale adoption of the technology."
CheckNique offers functionality that allows single-pass color scanning, auto thickness adjustment, MICR capture and digital endorsement.
