NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Madison Armored Car, which currently services 5,000 ATMs, is using MorphisCM, an ATM management tool developed by Morphis, Inc., a provider of currency supply chain management software, to deliver ATM management services to its customers in seven states.
"We sold our traditional armored business last year in order to focus on the ATM market. Our vision was to go beyond cash replenishment and offer turnkey portfolio management as well," said Wally Kemp, Madison's CEO. "We quickly outgrew our homegrown software solution and found MorphisCM to be a perfect fit for our business."
The core competencies of Morphis partners VeriCenter and WebEx helped his company deliver a turnkey solution to Madison "in a time frame that even surprised us," said Doug Deitel, CEO of Morphis. "With our 'Quick Starts' program, Madison was ready to begin forecasting and ordering cash for its customers' ATMs on day three of the conversion."
According to Deitel, VeriCenter supplied the necessary SQL server environment with secure VPN connectivity. A Morphis technical team installed and configured MorphisCM software at VeriCenter's facility in Dallas. Madison personnel were trained on the Morphis system via live WebEx sessions.
Jeremy Allen, vice president of MIS at Madison, said that allowing Morphis to implement the system shaved about 90 percent off Madison's total implementation cost.
