Tempo Payments inks processing deal with Fiserv EFT

SAN MATEO, Calif. - Tempo Payments Inc., formerly Debitman Card, has announced a deal with Fiserv EFT to provide access to the Tempo Payment Network during the first quarter of 2007.
According to a news release, Fiserv will provide expanded processor access to the Tempo Payment Network for merchants issuing and accepting retailer-branded debit cards.
Tempo provides retailers with an alternative payment network for branded debit-card programs that foster consumer loyalty and drive down the cost of accepting card payments.
The Tempo Payment Network does not require merchants to change their point-of-sale terminals; retailer-issued cards are accepted through existing payment terminals and processor networks.
