Systech, CDS announce IP-based ATM services

January 22, 2006

SAN DIEGO - Systech Corp. announced an alliance with Columbus Data Services to convert dial-up ATM transactions to IP-based transactions. According to a news release, CDS has certified Systech's dial-to-IP converters.

Systech's Internet payment gateways convert dial-up payment transactions to high-speed transactions using secure SSL IP protocols. No changes are required to installed ATM software dial applications, and merchants with IP networks also can use the Systech/CDS solution to convert and re-route dial transactions through WAN links.

"Systech converters allow us to address a growing requirement within our customer base for both higher-speed IP transactions and a reduction in telephony costs," said John Willmon, CDS's vice president of marketing. "It provides our growing base of ATM customers with a low-cost method to upgrade their dial ATMs to the efficiencies of newer IP-based processing."
