Swedish IAD offers foreign currency withdrawals at ATMs

Kontanten, the second largest ATM operator in Sweden, is launching foreign currency withdrawals in at selected ATMs, where demand for foreign currency is high. 

The multicurrency ATMs will dispense up to four different currencies each, according to a Kontanten press release. By the end of the year, the company intends to convert more than 50 terminals to dispense foreign notes.

The IAD is undertaking the project in cooperation with its cash-in-transit provider, Nokas.
