An informal survey at BAI's Retail Delivery Conference & Expo in November revealed that products targeted toward the United States' underbanked and unbanked consumers haven't garnered a dominant role in the industry.
The survey, conducted by The Center for Financial Services Innovation showed that most financial services providers and institutions are interested in tapping the underbanke/unbanked market. To date, however, more than one-third of the companies surveyed said they are doing nothing to touch that market.
