Sun Nat'l, Welch partner on ATM branding deal

January 27, 2014

Sun National Bank will offer its customers surcharge-free access to more than 800 ATMs located in Rite Aid pharmacies through a networking and branding agreement with Welch ATM.

All of the ATMs will be situated in Sun's primary service areas of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. About 100 of the machines in selected New Jersey and Pennsylvania locations will display the Sun National Bank logo.

The new surcharge-free ATM network is the latest step in Sun's ongoing efforts to add delivery channels and increase accessibility for customers, according to a news release from the FI.

"We're thrilled to be able to expand Sun's ability to provide desirable banking services to our customers conveniently and efficiently through an additional 800 service locations in the tri-state area," said Mike Dinneen, VP of marketing at Sun. "We are committed to developing innovative solutions to optimize our service delivery, leverage technology and deliver our services to our customers, who deserve choice and accessibility when doing their banking."

"We are very excited to work with an innovative bank partner like Sun National Bank and to help them seize an opportunity with a major retailer like Rite Aid to enhance customer service and increase brand awareness," said Adrienne Brown, FI sales manager and coordinator at Welch ATM.

Welch ATM is providing new, fully compliant ATM machines and complete program management for Rite Aid.
