SECU of Maryland, an FI with $3.6 billion in assets and 260,000 members, is expanding its partnership with Co-op Financial Services to include ATM terminal driving, as well as ATM and debit processing.
"We have partnered with Co-op for many years to provide the most technologically advanced services to our members," SECU president and CEO David Sweiderk said in a press release. "We look forward to expanding the partnership to continue to improve our technology and provide additional functionality that enhances services for our members."
In addition to utilizing Co-op ATM terminal driving services, SECU is consolidating its transaction processing from two providers to one in order to optimize operations, reduce costs and enhance security, the release said.
"We want our members to be able to conduct business at merchants and online quickly and securely using their debit card, which makes Co-op the right choice," said Sweiderk.
SECU currently participates in Co-op ATM, a nationwide network of 30,000 ATMs offering surcharge-free access to members of participating institutions.
