Savvi, the chip payment test platform from Fime, now supports the new certification process for terminal integration with China UnionPay.
The Savvi automated test platform significantly reduces the time needed to complete UnionPay terminal integration testing, saving acquirers and merchants time and money, according to a company press release.
The solution automatically determines applicable test cases, providing test process guidance, retrieving and validating test results, and generating and submitting test reports according to UnionPay requirements. The UnionPay interface is available in Chinese and English.
"As the Chinese payment infrastructure becomes increasingly dynamic with multiple payment brands and the introduction of innovative technologies, it is important that new solutions will perform as intended and interoperate successfully within the existing payment ecosystem," Alex Chen, Fime business director for Asia-Pacific, said in the release. "The latest certification requirement from UnionPay promotes this integrity, which is extremely positive for the marketplace."
In addition to UnionPay, Savvi supports an extensive range of international and domestic payment brand qualifications to allow multibrand testing, the release said.
