Santander Bank unveiled its Work Cafe in Manhattan. At 5,480 square feet, it has two stories, including a traditional branch, coffee bar and community spaces, according to a press release.
"Our branches are central to how we build relationships with customers and serve the communities where we operate," Jason Mock, head of Retail Banking, Santander US, said in the release. "At 437 Madison, we've created a modern, welcoming space that gives our team more opportunities to get to know customers, understand their needs and provide the guidance that builds trust over time."
This is the bank's third Work Cafe in the U.S., with the other two located in Brooklyn and Miami. It is designed to meet the needs of customers who value comfortable spaces in banking, with in-person support for financial decisions. The concept was first introduced in 2016.
