Samsung partners with Barclays for credit card

Samsung Electronics America partnered with Barclays for the Samsung Galacy Card, giving customers access to financing for Samsung Galaxy devices, appliances and products. It also provides up to 5% cash back in rewards and is integrated into Samsung Wallet, according to a press release.

Customers can earn 5% on Samsung direct purchases, 3% on Samsung wallet purchases, 2% on streaming service purchases and 1% on all others. There is no annual fee and it offers new qualifying cardmembers up to $200 in cash rewards after spending $2,000 within the first 90 days of opening an account.

Samsung Wallet combines the payment cards, digital keys, IDs and other tools.

This marks yet another milestone in the evolution of Samsung Wallet and mobile payments — offering a new solution for busy users who want cash rewards whether they're running errands or purchasing the latest Galaxy devices."
