Robbers steal $500K from armored car

TheMiamiHerald: An estimated $500,000 was stolen Tuesday from an armored truck inFort Lauderdale,Fla., according to police. The robbery occurred after 8 p.m. near a Bank of America. Two armed guards had been collecting deposits from area ATMs when three to four men drove up in a compact, foreign car and robbed them at gunpoint.
