CHICAGO - The Responsible Credit Partnership, incubated by The Saint Paul Foundation of Saint Paul, Minn., has partnered with the Chicago-based Center for Financial Services Innovation. The partnership takes effect January 2007.
According to a news release, the deal allows CFSI to expand its consumer credit programs. It also gives RCP the ability to work with a broad spectrum of participants, representing consumer, industry and government when promoting the responsible issuance and use of credit cards.
RCP corporate partners include Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, Experian, Fair Isaac, Target Financial Services, U.S. Bank, Visa, and Wells Fargo.
Kimberly Gartner, the partnership's director, will move to CFSI's offices in Chicago, where her responsibilities will include general relationships with financial institutions and non-profit organizations. She also will continue her work as a credit-issues spokeswoman.
