Regional bank renews ATM-branding agreement

October 28, 2010

Huntington, a regional bank based in Columbus, Ohio, has renewed an ATM-branding agreement with Cardtronics Inc.

The multi-year agreement allows Huntington to continue to display its brand name on 122 Cardtronics-owned and operated ATMs deployed in Walgreens and CVS/pharmacy stores in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

In addition to the renewal agreement, Huntington signed a new contract with Cardtronics. Huntington is putting its brand name on 46 Cardtronics ATMs deployed in CVS/pharmacy stores in Pittsburgh and southwestern Pennsylvania.

Huntington also is placing its brand on four Cardtronics ATMs deployed in Walgreens stores in Cleveland.  The bank's customers can withdraw cash surcharge-free from all of the branded ATMs. The companies did not release the contract's details.

Huntington has been a Cardtronics bank-branding customer since 2005. Houston-based Cardtronics is the world's largest ATM ISO.
