June 17, 2009

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Credit Union 24 and the newly launched Realtors Federal Credit Union have partnered, giving the credit union access to Credit Union 24's surcharge-free ATM and participant-owned POS network.
"Members of Realtors FCU have unique financial and cash-flow requirements, and our partnership with Credit Union 24 enhances our offerings as a financial services provider designed specifically with realtors' needs in mind," said Tom Glatt, president and chief of Realtors FCU. "Credit Union 24 provides the same flexibility and customizable financial programs and services that work best for our members' unique needs."
Realtors FCU, which opened May 1 and is based in Rockville, Md., caters to the special financial service needs of the National Association of Realtors' 1.2 million members. Realtors FCU exclusively serves NAR members, one of the credit union industry's largest fields of membership, and works in partnership with NAR as a REALTOR Benefits Program Partner.
"Credit Union 24 complements Realtors FCU's virtual network with thousands of ATMs and POS terminals nationwide," said Jim Park, president and CEO of Credit Union 24.
As the largest credit union-owned POS network in the nation, the Credit Union 24 network provides increased interchange income for credit unions, in addition to surcharge-free ATM access at more than 50,000 nationwide locations for those credit unions' members.  During the fourth quarter of 2008, Credit Union 24 announced a 20-percent increase in interchange income for its participants, along with savings of more than $30 million in ATM surcharge fees throughout 2008.
