Prineta acquires ATMs in Coastal South Texas

Prineta has purchased a portfolio of ATMs in Corpus Christi and Coastal South Texas, expanding its Texas territory from San Antonio, Houston and Dallas to the state's entire southern coast, according to a press release. The acquisition, announced Dec. 29, 2017, marks its third for the year.

The company provides access to cash for hotels, markets, resorts and other locations.

"Cash is not dead — and neither is the ATM machine," Tanner Morton, Prineta managing partner, said in the press release. "Surprisingly, we have seen average ATM transaction volume actually increase the last two quarters compared to the same quarters in years prior."

Coastal covers approximately 17,000 square miles from Galveston to Padre and Corpus Christi.

All Prineta ATMs are EMV upgraded and ADA compliant. The company offers full service in both English and Spanish.
