Prima Payments, Phoenix Managed Networks ink reseller deal

Phoenix Managed Networks, a provider of payments communications, gateway and payment support services, today announced a multi-year reseller agreement with Prima Payments Canada.

According to the terms of the agreement, Prima Payments will distribute Phoenix's PaySecure payment security and compliance solution to Canadian ISOs that serve SMEs such as restaurants and convenience store franchises.

PaySecure was developed to help merchants achieve and maintain compliance with PCI DSS and offers consolidated payments authorization. At merchant locations, the Mako 6500 network appliance locks down payment networks to PCI DSS criteria and provides a primary connection to the Internet. Each cloud-managed network appliance provides on-site network security, while the central management system configures and applies continuous compliance monitoring tools and safeguards.

"Phoenix PaySecure offers a quick, plug and play payments security solution and provides a versatile and fully secure retail network environment," said Trevor Fall, EVP of North American sales for Phoenix. "It is a complete data security service and aids merchants in overcoming the complexity of implementing card industry PCI-DSS security standards."
