Postilion co-sponsors East Africa 2009 Banking & Payment Technologies Conference

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa — Postilion, a division of S1 Corp., will be participating at the annual AITEC event in Nairobi, Africa, Feb. 17-19.
 
According to a news release, the event will focus on the customer experience of technology implementation and services, and challenging suppliers and financial institutions to evaluate their systems in light of customer needs and preferences.
 
Postilion's new customer administration portal will be displayed at the show, and Postilion payments experts will be on hand to demonstrate the Postilion portal, which gives a unified view of customers, accounts, transactions, and activities across various payments channels via a Web browser.
 
Four speakers will showcase Postilion's customer-centric payments solutions at the conference:
 
  • Case Study: The Umoja Switch in Tanzania: by Paul Nilsen, general manager of business connection for a Postilion client based in Tanzania
  • Innovating for EFT Success: by André Niemand, Positilion's sales manager for Africa
  • Point of Sale Value-Added Services: by Ophias Sherewa, managing director of Transaction Payment Systems, a Postilion reseller in Africa
  • Facilitating Prepaid with Electronic Voucher Distribution: Jim Baird, managing director of ATM Africa, a Postilion reseller in Africa
More than 90 organizations in Africa now use Postilion to enhance their customer experience of electronic payments. Internationally, more than 300 clients have successfully implemented various Postilion solutions.
 
Postilion drives major transaction switches and processors in numerous African countries, including South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya. Smaller regional switches, such as those in Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Uganda, also run on Postilion platforms.
