Phoenix Interactive 'crosses the pond' to open Scottish office

November 7, 2013

Self-service software provider Phoenix Interactive Design Inc. has expanded its European presence with a solution development and production support office in Dunfermline, Scotland.

The new office is the Ontario, Canada-based company's third international expansion in just the past year, joining business development and service delivery expansions in Charlotte, N.C., and Sydney, Australia.

The company said in an announcement that Dunfermline is strategically located to offer just-in-time access and support across EMEA with optimal time-zone and international flight access from Edinburgh to all points in Europe and beyond.

"Dunfermline is the perfect location for us to grow and expand our business," said Phoenix CEO Kyle MacDonald. "There is an exceptional pool of local talent in Dunfermline and the surrounding region which will further augment the depth and breadth of current technical expertise throughout the organization.

"I am eager to bring these resources to our clients throughout the U.K. and continental Europe as Phoenix continues to expand its global reach," she said.

Phoenix views its presence in Scotland as a key component of its global growth strategy. The announcement said that the new office will be better able to deliver the company's software solutions to financial services organizations in the region.
