JCB International Co. Ltd., the international arm of Japan-based payment brand JCB, has partnered with Philippine National Bank to launch the PNB JCB Platinum Credit Card in the Philippines, according to a press release.
The card is designed for consumers who combine digital, in-person and international spending. It offers rewards points, installment features and access to JCB's global network, particularly in Japan.
Among its features is an auto-convert installment option that allows eligible online purchases of at least 30,000 Philippine pesos($490.26) to be converted automatically into a three-month installment plan without monthly add-on interest.
Cardholders earn one rewards point for every 70 pesos($1.14) spent and one point for every 40 pesos(65 cents) spent in Japan or on transactions billed in Japanese yen. Points may be redeemed as cash credits toward outstanding balances.
The card also includes access to select overseas airport lounges, JCB's multilingual concierge service and exclusive promotions in Japan.
"We developed this card with our customers' day-to-day needs in mind — from managing purchases more easily to making the most of travel opportunities," Edwin R. Bautista, president and CEO of PNB, said in the release.
